Introduction :
Bheema was the strongest Pandava and second son of Kunti and Pandu.He is famous for his low-tempered mind and strength.Bhima's story with Lord Hanuman,when Hanuman crushed the over-confidence of Bheema.Lord Pawan was the celestial father of Bheema.
He had the power of 10,000 elephants received by the Nagas.There's a thrilling story about how he got the power of 10,000.

King Pandu received an cursed from Sage Kindama,as he killed him when he was in deer avatar with her wife.When Kindama was on his way to death,Pandu came and apologized for his mistake as he launched Shabdh Bhedi baan without knowing that the deer was Sage Kindama.Kindama then cursed Pandu that he will right away will be sent to heaven,when he approaches his wife with an intent of making love.
But Pandu once forgot the curse of Kindama and came with an intent of making love to Madri.After the death of Pandu,Madri too got sati with his body.Kunti took the responsibility of the children.The Pandavas spend their childhood with Kauravas.The Kauravas didn't liked Bheema,as he often beat them.Once Duryodhan with the help of Shakuni poisoned Bheema and threw him into the river Ganga.
Due to the weight of Bheema he went to Nagaloka inside the river.When the snake started biting him,the effect of poison vanished.Suddenly Bheema regained his consciousness and killed many snakes.After hearing the news,Nagaraja Vasuki came along with some ministers to investigate the matter and he identified Bheema.After he identified Bheema,he offered him a bowl of nectar which provides strength of 10,000 elephants and send him back to Hastinapura.

Bheema of Mahabharata teaches many life lessons to us.He set an example of power.No powerful soul like bheema other than Hanuman is alive in this Kaliyuga.Bheema once gained over-confidence of his strength,then he accepted his mistake after Hanuman took the avatar of Old-aged monkey to crush his over-confidence.
