Main motive:Rana Sanga story 

Full name:Sangram singh Sisodiya. 

Rana Sanga was a ruler from Sisodiya clan of Mewar and the one of the greatest of the Ranas.In this post we are going to learn about the heroic and inspiring life of Rana Sanga.Rana Sanga defeated Ibrahim lodi and fough 'the babur war'.And also he defeated Babur. 

*Birth:

Rana Sanga was born on 12 april 1482 at Chittorgarh,Mewar.He was the grandson of Rana Kumbha.He was the 3rd son of Rana Raimal.His birth was simple but,his activities were going to result the qualities of grear warrior.

Rana Sangha's childhood was the first stage when he was going to show his symptoms  of success in future.He had three brothers:Prithviraj Sisodiya,Jaimal,Raisingh.Among them Prithviraj Sisodiya was the eldest.One day,One saint came to predict the future of four brothers.On seeing their horoscope,He said that Rana Sanga will going to be the successor of Raimal.On hearing this,Prithviraj got angried and tried to kill Rana Sanga.

But,Rana Sanga's uncle stopped him and said him that,I know an old lady that will show the real future through horoscope.But,that lady also said that Rana Sanga was going to be the next ruler,Prithviraj again tried to kill him and Rana Sanga lost his right eye in this conflict,his uncle died protecting Rana Sanga from Prithviraj Sisodiya.

However,Rana Sanga ran from there to fort.After some while, Prithviraj Sisodiya's anger became less.

*Accession to the throne Mewar.

After the death of Rana Raimal,There was a struggle among his 4 sons to ascend the throne.Among them Rana Sanga was secong youngest,so there was a difficulty of giving throne to Rana Sanga.But,Rana Sanga ascended the throne after death of his brothers in a very short time:
1.Prithviraj Sisodiya:Poisioned by the Parmaras of Abu.
2.Jaimal:Died during an conflict with Solankis.
3.Raisingh:Not ascended the throne because of low qualities and was disagreed by the ministers. 

So,In this way,Rana Sanga was only left and he ascended the throne.

*Starting years:

Rana Sanga's motive was to dominate Rajputana and bring all Rajputs together.He was also successful in doing it.

Noteful Deeds:

Battle of Khatoli & Battle of Dholpur .

Rana gained victory in both the battles against Delhi Sultanate which was under the leadership of Ibrahim Lodi.Ibrahim Lodi tried to revenge the defeat in the Battle of Khatoli and fought Battle of Dholpur but, he was again defeated.Rana Sanga defeated him with a small army.


Two battles with the Sultanate of Malwa and Gujarat.

Rana Sanga defeated both the armies at once in Mandsaur and again in Gagron.He defeated them two times.

 Battle of Bayana. 

Rana Sanga defeated Babur in the Battle of Bayana.This made Babur's army very unstable.Babur received a great loss in this battle.

Battle of Khanwa. 

Babur decided to revenge Rana Sanga.He made a huge army against Rana Sanga.Rana Sanga was defeated because his own ministers betrayed him.Babur had a huge army and Sanga had a very small army.

*Death. 

After the defeat in Khanwa,Rana Sanga fell down from his horse with 80 wounds on body,Rana Sanga was unconsciously fallen on ground.But some ministers took him out of the battle.When Rana Sanga opened his eyes he was out of the battle,he shouted at his ministers that if he was going to die,why they helped him? He never wanted to be defeated.But,Rana Sanga didn't gave up.

He gone to help Malwa Sultanate from Babur,but he was poisoned by his own ministers at Kalpi. 

*Lost of one hand:

Rana Sanga lost his right hand while fighting in the battle with Lodi's army.

*Lost of proper functioning of right leg:

Rana Sanga lost his proper functioning of right leg while fighting in a battle,when an arrow was shoot on his foot.

Conclusion

So this was Rana Sanga,We know that Babur defeated Rana Sanga, but we never tried to know that Babur was defeated by Rana Sanga in the battle of Bayana.
